IBPO CTO Moderates Leadership Panel at Malaysia Economic Forum 2026 Outlook
29 January 2026 – Industry and policy leaders gathered at the Malaysia Economic Forum 2026 Outlook, co-organised by the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Central Branch, the Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce (MDCC), and the Chartered Institute of Digital Economy (CIDE), and held at the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC).
Our Chief Technology Officer and Council Member of the Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce, Samuel Quek, was invited to moderate one of the forum’s featured panel sessions titled “Digital, Green, or Geopolitical? What Will Actually Drive Productivity Growth in 2026.”

The discussion explored three key forces shaping Malaysia’s productivity agenda: digital transformation, the green transition, and geopolitical realignment, with digitalisation recognised as the most immediate and scalable driver of growth, particularly through advancements in AI, automation, fintech, and digital trade.

The forum was officiated by YB Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, with opening remarks by Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof and Ms. Christina Tee, President of MICCI. Special remarks were delivered by Mr. Eldrick Koh, President of the Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce.
